We Know What a Good Deal Looks Like

We've been on the other end of that — signed up through a site, thought we had a great deal, and later realised we were leaving significant money behind.
That's not what PlodAlong is about. We only list deals that we'd actually take ourselves. If we wouldn't play at a room, or we don't think the deal is genuinely good for players, we don't put it on the site. Simple as that.
PLO First
While we cover all formats, our background is PLO. We play it, we study it, and we understand the specific challenges PLO grinders face — higher variance, higher rake, and a smaller pool of rooms that genuinely cater to the format. We'll always be looking at deals through that lens, and you'll find our recommendations reflect the needs of PLO players specifically.
That means we care about things like:

What We're Building
Right now PlodAlong is in its early days. We have a small number of deals live and we're adding more as we negotiate and verify them. We're also building out free tools for players — starting with a simple random number generator for mixed strategy decisions — and we'll be adding more over time.
We want this to become a genuinely useful resource for poker players of all levels — not just a list of affiliate links. That means honest news coverage, real software recommendations, and deals that are worth having.
